Corrimony Farm is 25 miles west of Inverness, in the heart of Glenurquhart. An upland farm, it is home to the Girvan family and their 140 Stabiliser breeding cows and 900 Lleyn Sheep.
This Farming Life Series 5 (2021)
We are delighted to share our story with you in the current series of This Faming Life. The film crew have been following us since March 2021 and you will be able to follow our year on the series. The show airs from Tuesday the 23rd of November for three weeks, and then on BBC 2 just before Christmas. It will be available on Britbox for international viewers, date TBC.
Our focus is on rearing good quality Stabiliser® Cattle, supplying meat to Morrisons Supermarkets and selling breeding stock to other farms. All our animals are reared under the Quality Meat Scotland welfare standard.
Since 2016, we have been the only Pumpkin Patch in the highlands, growing and selling pumpkins at Halloween. We open our farm for the October Holidays for Pick your own Pumpkins. Most recently, in 2021 we embarked on our first season of sustainable cut flower production.
